Shumer blew off Trump plea to repeal and replace the ACA 'Obamacare'
So now, Trump wants to sell exempt short term healthcare policies across state lines that can discriminate to only accept the healthiest persons at lower than ACA rates. The elderly and sick buying ACA healthcare market policies will see dramatic increase when the insured pool has only high cost people left.
Result: Destroy Obamacare from the inside with an obtuse end-run.
A really great health plan: Obamacare policies few can afford and premature death.
The good part is that Trump is digging himself a hole he won't be able to get out of. Hopefully this doesn't get too many people killed. I am convinced that Trump probably drove that mass murder nutcase over the edge in Las Vegas last week -- expect more of that to come probably.
