There's no need to do this. Only a complete moron would believe NK had the military strength to oppose the US. Saddam tried it and failed miserably, it took a few weeks to overrun Iraq. The problem was suicide missions.
Apart from a very few elite, no one in NK supports Kim. The US would drop food parcels and win friends.
