Look you're trying to spin this in an attempt to somehow not only justify your beliefs but also because you hate Drumpf.
So I'll make it easy for you.
Someone working the night shift at McDonalds gets shot and killed by a robber. Well that's a tragedy because they're a civilian and their family isn't going to get a phone call from the president.
On the other hand someone in the military gets killed is a different story. They're not civilians, they're trained to use fire arms and it's made very clear that they might be called to kill someone or that they might become a casualty of conflict.
You sign the contract and you accept the risk. You give up being a civilian for the opportunities and benefits of the military and you have to take the risks that go with that. Today's military is a volunteer one so therefore no one has a gun at your head forcing you into dangerous situations.

No.
I didn't sign up to drive a tank. I didn't sign up to serve in a front line infantry unit. I didn't sign up to become a TOW gunner. I signed up to become a cook. I signed up to get money for college.
But no matter what....
The President of the United States should never call someone who's spouse just died and say "too fucking bad" or "No big deal" or "He knew what he was getting into.
No matter what.
It's undignified.
The leader of the free world should set the example, be a leader - not a crap on our troops by saying "this is what he signed up for".
It's deplorable.
