100 grand, wow. I had an old TV and an old computer and did a little googling about various adapters so thought I would give it a shot since I knew that the cost would be less than a hundred bucks after pricing the hardware. What the hell, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It works great and while it is undoubedtly not as good as good as your 100 grand investment I am entirely pleased with my less than 100 dollar investment. It works beautifully. It is what I now use to stream movies. I have four other computers for other puposes, but do really need to upgrade them all sooner than later.

I have used S-Video before and HDMI is an improvement upon that and that is why I went to HDMI. I find it to be entirely satisfactory.
