This isn't a case of do what MERCA says or else, Mexico can fuck the US right back if Trump tries something so stupid as adding a tax on outgoing money transfers.

Also even if he could get away with doing that with no repercussion, money transfers would then become another blackmarket money grab for the cartels who would set up transfers for half the cost under the table and tax free..

Trump would be giving the cartels a massive money grab..
