Both sides do opposition research. Nothing illegal about it at all, nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, I thought was already well known as fact - the DNC / Hillary Campaign was first to order up and pay for the research, and then once it uncovered what it did the FBI was called in.
Once again the Republican party is taking a single fact and trying to put a negative spin on it, implying it was illegal when it wasn't.
But now that we have this information, we should investigate if Hillary Clinton did anything illegal here. Let's investigate. In the process we'll have to investigate every aspect of the dossier to see how much of it is true. Wasn't it thirty pages long? Whew. That will be a lot of investigating to do. I'm not sure about anyone else but I am really interested to know if there was any truth to Trump pissing on hookers in a Moscow hotel room. I will also be interested to know if the Russians have any blackmail material on Trump.
If the Republican party wants to put this front and center, let's put it front and center. Let's have the dirty details of this dossier front page news for the next ten months.
