yes people are the same everywhere...put a white man to live in an african village and he will be the same as everybody around him...I never supported any "noble savage" theory...I believe we are formed by our surroundings...
now if you grow up in the right geo location where there were not 100-s of years of slavery and its residual effects, you will prosper more...for example if you grow up in a region that accumulated 100-s of years of wealth stolen from others...
