Did you read the article at all? Did it say what Manafort's title was? Odd. If he worked for the Podesta Group in any way, shape or form, he would have a title. And business cards.

Seems to me like this article is trying to put distance between Manafort and Trump, and trying to make it seem like Manafort had "deep" ties to the Podestra Group.

What the source shared with Tucker Carlson is that the ties of Manafort were shallow with regards to being on the Trump campaign team for a time in comparison to his years of not only working as a lobbyist on behalf of Russia, but also in comparison to his deep connection with the Podesta Group and Hillary Clinton!

Everyone knows Manafort worked directly for Trump's campaign, yet no one seems to know anything about him working for the Podesta Group except for one person who is top secret, and on the Fox propaganda channel.

So if Manafort worked for the Podesta Group, how come he only showed up "once a month" and was "representing Russian business and political interests. According to the article...

In the years following, our source says he saw Manafort in the Podesta Group offices quote, ‘all the time,’ at least once a month. Manafort was not there to socialize. He was representing Russian business and political interests who sought to influence Capitol Hill, Hillary Clinton’s State Department, and the Obama administration. Our source describes Manafort bringing what he called “a parade” of Russian oligarchs to the Congress, where they met with members and their staffs, but the central effort to extend Russian influence was focused at the Executive Branch, the Obama administration.

Seems like Manafort was working for the Russians, and trying to buy influence with everyone in Washington. That surely doesn't sound like he worked for the Podesta Group.

The final paragraph reads....

So it seems that Manafort was indeed lobbying hard on behalf of the Russian government for years, and there is every reason to believe that he may have joined Drumpf’s team to get close to him in the event that he should win. When it was discovered that he was the subject of an FBI investigation into his work with the ECMU, Trump fired him, but it was Clinton who was working with Manafort for years, according to this source, to give the Russians undue influence in American government circles, efforts which included cornering the market on U.S. uranium deposits.

We all know he worked for the Russian government for years, but they are clearly trying to tie Manafort into Clinton and the Podesta Group without ANY proof at all.

But you keep trying.
He didn't work "for" Podesta. He worked "with" Podesta. As in they were working together separately. It's not a rumor or conspiracy theory it's a fact. It's why he a Podesta group had to back file disclosures.
