You are desperately trying to tie in the Podesta Group into the illegal activities of Manafort, and so far I am not seeing it. The Podesta Group was mentioned in the indictment, but that's about it.

Because he's being indicted next... And they hope to keep this criminal enterprise running without him. They will change the name shortly. It's probably already in the process.
BTW the media is trying their best to separate John from the Podesta Group. The are both equal parts owners. They built it together. John works Washington for the business, Tony runs the business itself..
