Because if you love him and you are married, you would not want to sleep with another man in the first place. Simple logic. Instead.. you said you would not want to upset him.

You said you would kill to feed your kids.. that sounded like you would kill an innocent person (who could have kids too btw) just to feed your kids (stealing his money or his food). I don't see any attacker mentioned in there...
