Best solution is to put the advanced world in the situation where it does not need 'their' oil and gas (LNG, LPG) for energy. Then foreign policy will be more objective. This is 10 to 20 years away -- if we work at it seriously and in earnest.
From the 'muzzie' perspective: Over 10,000 (some say 40,000) ISIS maniac soldiers have been liquidated. As direct collateral damage of US led and Russian lead military operations -- 3,000 to 5,000 reported civilian deaths have occurred. So the return damage is maybe 1 for 10? 1 for 50 overall.
