Many of these countries really only have a couple things to offer, oil and natural gas as well as cheap labor. If we can get away from buying their oil and gas that will go a long way towards helping us. The cheap labor fuels them but that will change with time as robots and automation make cheap labor obsolete.

I find myself wondering how they will act once they have even less to offer the world.
