The paradox is that the private prison system in the state of NY is the most expensive in the country.
Housing a prisoner in the state of New York costs about 60 k a year, which would otherwise be a very nice salary for anybody actually producing something else than Jihad.
Not to mention that prisons in general nowadays work as very effective Jihadi recruitment centers, so he is likely to get involved in a lot of dawa (proselytizing of Islam) over there.
