If you plan on being a mass killer you are going to want a high capacity magazine so you can take out as many innocent people as you can. Other than the convenience of carrying several magazines with hundreds of rounds that you don't have to reload, there is not much use for them. Now if you are hunting Elk or Deer and you are a lousy shot, a high capacity magazine is exactly what you need. You can kill the whole herd. Alternately if we have a civil war in America and we have to go after the white Nazi's, we just shoot at the moron that is shooting at us on full auto. End that fuck with one well placed round.
