The Paradise Papers just came out and surely there must be some connections to prominent Democrats, right? Bill and Hillary Clinton have millions; They must have hidden their money in a tax shelter on some little island, right? The papers are out but yet... None of the information seems to point to Democrats.
Why is that? I'm not saying they aren't guilty. The Podesta Group might be in some legal trouble.
Paul, if they are guilty of a crime they are guilty of a crime. It doesn't matter what political party they are from. There are criminals on both sides. But usually it's one person who committed a crime. What we have with the Trump people is every last one of them seems to be involved in this scandal. Every one of them seems to be having secret meetings with Russian agents or Russian government employees, or are moving money around secretly that seems to involve the Russians. Every time we turn around there is something new to report.
We had a dozen investigations into Hillary Clinton; The Republicans were positive there was some wrong doing. There wasn't. With both the email server and Benhazi there was just no crime committed. With the email sever it is just not against the law for the Secretary of State to send classified email via private server. With Benghazi there was never even a crime she was accused of. A dozen investigations and no charges.
One investigation and we already have three charges. Maybe that should tell you something.
The Republican party uses the legal system to smear Democrats. We impeached Bill Clinton over a single lie. So far everyone they investigate in the Trump campaign is coming up guilty of something. Wait until the moment we put Trump under oath. Can you just imagine how many lies he would tell in a two hour interview? Wait until they ask Trump if he ever had sexual relations outside of his marriage - don't tell me that's off the table because it's a perfectly valid question because they asked that same question to Bill Clinton.
Everyone in his campaign is guilty and is being charged. We already know Jeff Sessions lied under oath. Flynn broke the law. Jared is next in line. At the same time, the President's approval rating just dropped even lower - the least popular president EVER.
You just have to see where this going.
