I used Canada as an example above. We had more deaths in one mass shooting than Canada had in ten years. Clearly all countries have problems with mental illness, yet only in the United States do people go out and slaughter dozens and dozens other people.
The problem is firearms. The United states makes up 4% of the world population but has 42% of the world's firearms. And when I say "42% of the world's firearms" keep in mind the most popular selling firearm is the AR15 Assault Rifle.
