the failure of communism has as much to do with the west as it does with the communists themselves...the west went OUT OF ITS WAY to thwart communism in every possible way it could...
I am not claiming communism was ideal or that the sun shines out of commie ass, I am claiming that it is a system with flaws like any other...but to deny that the actions of the west did not have negative effects is akin to claiming that dropping more bombs that WW2 on vietnam was humanitarian...
there is a strong reason the east did not trust the capitalist west <=== a point not to be ignored
the capitalism of the time was vastly different to the capitalism we have today <==== another not to be ignored point
the west is not exactly bunch of busy body do gooders, quite the opposite...ask the 80.000.000 indians starved to death over opium...
now proceed to apply the white man hand wash "they did it to themselves" but in reality the biggest product of capitalism at the time, was communism...and this was not because capitalism was so fucking great, it was because anything was better than the capitalism they had...communism did not just pop out of of the blue for no reason
the white capitalist is by faaaaar the #1 murderer in the world...controls all the money, calls all the shots etc...but its always somebody elses fault
