Poles seem very happy here, working hard on low pay, being good citizens, one found my cat and put a photo in the newspaper

Doesn't sound too attractive really. I know a British guy who moved out there with his Ukrainian wife, he couldn't cope, they now live apart because he says it's too depressing there, goes back to visit every couple of months.
