No filters man, I may have edited a blemish or two in Photoshop, maybe a piece of fuzz that was on the floor, and then took it into Lightroom and manually adjusted the white balance, exposure, color, and sharpness. No smoothing or filters.
I have tried the Portraiture smoothing filters, and in my opinion they do not work for sets of pictures. It looks as if someone ran them through a filter and it just looks fake to me. Even if I turn the settings all the way down. I try to avoid batch processing with filters for the most part.
However, I do like to play with the Portraiture filters on close up portraits or images that I decide to make black and white for fun. Those can turn out pretty cool, but I don't do that for set content.
