I managed to replicate the problem, meaning, i did manage to see my cookie be overwritten.

Did it with absolute handjobs
Had this popup, clicked it away

Pressed JOIN link on the original page and my promo code changed to :
15673:PPS:stay:C

Same number as OP, so I think this thread needs a few bumps from other affiliates whom can take 3 minutes to replicate the problem.

Mines is 124XXX

Weird shit, very troubling.
