It's really just general annoyances. It takes forever to boot now, even with an SSD drive. Endless updates means endless rebooting which sucks if you need to leave it on for a long time.
Drivers install by themselves? No not always. So right now I'm trying to install a new driver. Dialog box says it can take a few minutes. Fine. In the end I get a "driver could not be installed" error message. Not only is there no reason provided, but I can't exit out of the box to start over. Closing stuck programs from the task manager works most of the time, but not every time.
There are so many annoyances like this.
Productivity? No way, no way, no way. Buy a new mac and it already has the latest OS. Installing everything is FAST and simple. You are up and running and working in minutes with a new mac vs a PC.
Please believe me. Macs, simply, work. Well. Very, very well. They are so effortless - so smooth - so exactly what a computer should be.
Of course they are not lightning-fast when it comes to games. For hardcore gamers, Windows wins for sure. But so what. For general use, Macs win.
As soon as my last project is done, I'm selling this PC (Alienware Area 51, 1TB SSD + 4TB HD, 24GB of Ram, NVidia 750 (I think), and good riddance.
