It was reported, quickly questioned, and then retracted. That's called a mistake. That's called rushing to judgement.
Fake news is when you tell a complete lie, with no investigation, and pass it off as news.
Brian Ross reported that Flynn was "prepared to testify that Donald Trump as a candidate had instructed him to reach out to the Russians" when the truth was this was while Trump was President elect. That's a mistake - a shift in a time line. Not to mention for all we know this might in fact be true.

ZERO truth here. Everything he said was completely fake. He put zero effort into the truth, zero effort into looking into anything he said.
Fake news is when you intentionally say something you know is not true, not when you make a mistake on the timeline in a story.
