So out of the blue Trump announces a move which destroys any hope of a two party state and therefore a lasting peace settlment.
This is not about one person solving it - this is about Trump, a guy who could not give a fuck about where the capitol of Israel is, suddenly deciding to say fuck you to the Palestinian / Arab / Muslim world in favour of their arch enemy.
American presidents since Jimmy Carter had tried to broker peace in the middle east.
It would appear that the arch deal maker is holding up his side of the bargain - whatever it was.
