So, only the 1% will be able to afford internet, now? The ISP's are just going to completely ignore 99% of potential customers? Come on..

Ending net neutrality (a socialist endeavor) is a step in the right direction. They need to keep deregulating in the ISP/cable space, though. This will allow for competition, which is the driving force of innovation, better pricing, service, support, etc..

So, when some major ISP starts catering to only the 1%, other opportunity-seekers (business owners) will see a massive opportunity to address economic demand. This fact alone will prevent said ISP corp from acting against the interest of consumers.
