My step daughter is train same route but left from seattle 4hr later. She is being rerouted. What people might not understand here is that the train came off the tracks and off the tressel that crosses above interstate 5. i5 is a massive freeway spanning from Canada to Mexico. It has been closed now for many hours. There arent many alternate routes along the interstate either because Puget Sound is all water to the west and mostly farms to the east. Shitty day of travel for lots of college kids and commuters going between Seattle/Tacoma and Portland, Oregon.
