Hugh Hefner once said that he preferred models to not try to "look sexy" when photographed. Women have a tendency to do that without thinking, and he wouldn't allow it. Because according to Hugh, it comes across as "corny" in the photographs.
The one where Gia is smiling is the one pic in the OP set where she's coming across as most real. She's not forcing that smile. Its the side of sexy women that Hugh tried to capture.
