I found a lot of conflicting idiots on this subject

I thought that PCIE 2.1 16x wide slots should be plenty of bandwidth for a gtx980 or 1080
But this guy with the T5400 says he can't get the fps he should get. Not even half.
I think maybe the E5450 are the bottleneck

What do you geniuses think ??
