It turns out they did in fact fund the CHIP account - barely.
When I say "barely" I mean it took them four months to partially fund the account on a temporary basis. Because, you know, it was much more important for Congress to lower taxes for the rich while trying to take away healthcare for thirteen million people.
Why Robbie? Why couldn't they just fully fund the account instead of partially funding it, only to have to do this again in four months? They clearly have the money - they have no problems raising the deficit - why not just do it?
I mean... What can be more important healthcare for children?
