The Republican party is trying to make the FBI look bad. When this breaks open Trump will go to his base and say "The FBI is corrupt".
This is insane.
First, the FBI isn't corrupt. A handful of people in FBI do not like Trump. However, you can argue there are people in the FBI who do not like Hillary. It surely doesn't mean they cannot do their jobs.
Second, if the FBI is corrupt and we have no one to police the politicians, well, we would become a third country nation.
