I disagree. We've been calculating unemployment the same way for decades. Even if it's completely inaccurate, it's consistent and a fair judge of the economy and how jobs are doing.
If that's not good enough, we can use new jobs created... Which we can pin point to the exact number. Those numbers for December just came out. (Unemployment remained the same.) Trump failed produce more jobs than Obama - period. In 2017, we had 1.84 million new jobs created. In Obama's list year, we had 2.09 million jobs created. In fact, Obama created more jobs than Trump in 2014, 2015, and 2016. So much for being a jobs president.
So he failed on his promise to create "more jobs".
