Take a look at the numbers.
The stock market reached it's low point in 2009 and has been climbing ever since. That has nothing to do with Trump. Trump wasn't in office in 2009. The stock market has been rising for the past nine years. Trump had nothing to do with the rise in the stock market in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016. At this point Trump is just riding out the stock market that has been rising for the past nine years.
Job creation under Obama was up every month and every year. Job creation was higher in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 than it was while Trump was in office during 2017. Trump - the so called "jobs president" created less than Obama did.
Unemployment now is an issue too. Under Obama we had 72 consecutive months of unemployment dropping. Trump took office - again, the so called "jobs president" and Trump had a grand total of four months of consecutive unemployment rate dropping. That's right - in the past 12 months we have only four consecutive months of the unemployment rate dropping.
Here is
the numbers for the past year:
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
4.8 4.7 4.5 4.4 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.4 4.2 4.1 4.1 4.1
This is just stunning. Under Obama the stock market rose constantly and unemployment dropped every month for 72 months, but Republicans told us things were horrible. Now we have a president that has done nothing and everything is great? Bullshit.
