I do mainstream retail, now but I used to run a shit ton of tgps and blogs.. This board stopped being "just" porn 8 or so years ago.. you know when they added the whole "mainstream" section.. Perhaps if people could have figured out that "mainstream" isnt shitty dating sites then perhaps there would be something interesting to talk about here..
I'll let you in on a secrect.. back when I started on this board, I wouldn't even post here because there was too much nonsense and not enough business. I wasnt the only one either, it was a common thought even way back in 2003. The place was filled with useless posts back then as well.
You are missing the point though. Nothing will ever bring it back to a better mix of business topics as the business which created this board is now dead for the bulk of the people who used to be in it. There isn't even 1/10th of the people still doing porn as there used to be..
This is why there isnt any business related posts any,ore because the people still in the biz already have their connections sorted by now, there arent new people coming in asking questions and there arent new customers for content guys or designers. There isn't programmers making the latest tgp or traffic script or traffic sellers/buyers looking to do biz...

What is left is the BS and that's all that keeps this board hosted on servers. With out the BS, this place would not be here anymore because you'd be lucky to get 1 to 2 business topics a day if the format was changed to just biz..
IMO gfy missed a step when "actual" mainstream took over and porn died for the affiliates. They left the mainstream section to be over run with assholes posting dating shit in every topic so anyone who was interested in actual mainstream wet else where and get lost that ability to transition into the future at that point.
There were tons of posts back then asking for how to get into mainstream and all they got for replies was people spaming then dating shit, so those people went elsewhere so all that's left are people who stick around to bs..
