Our greatest President is arguably George Washington. He was a super rich businessman as well as a general.
I don't think "politicians" should EVER be President. Unless they are governors with EXECUTIVE experience.
Executives should be running the executive branch.
Politicians should be in the legislative branch (Congress)
And lawyers (with all their bullshit...lol) should be in the Judicial Branch.
People have been brainwashed over the decades into believing that bureaucrats have "experience" to be President. Bullshit.
Leadership is the main ingredient for President. It is the EXECUTIVE branch. No bureaucracy required.
Bureaucrats become successful by following. Not leading. If you look back at the 8 years of slow economics and bad foreign policy decisions by the Obama Administration you see the main criticism was that he "Led from behind".
That's unacceptable.
And remember...it was "politicians" running things that put our country in $20 TRILLION dollars of debt, endless wars, and a horrible economy.
Now the economy is stronger than it has been in more than a dozen years and the GDP is 3% (which Obama said was "impossible).
Politicians? No thank you.
