I would like to add AMEX to a non-adult website. I currently have VISA/MasterCard. I have no idea how long it would take to add it.

What is the average time it takes for a programmer to add AMEX payment to a website? 2 days? 2 weeks?

Yes yes I know there are variables to consider, but of those that have experience, how long was the shortest, the longest, to add it?
