I was an on site apartment manager for a 100 unit complex by the beach here in America for 3 years, before moving to live on the Gold Coast in Australia for 5 years. The owners of the complex here were Chinese. They were the most cheap & coniving people I've ever met. Very very nice polite people in person but they paid me scraps, delayed repairs as long as possible on every single unit, violated city codes on all sorts of shit, raised the rent on long time tenants in units with old carpet, try to keep as much of a deposit as possible when someone moved out, the list goes on. I was constantly having to fight them I'm not fucking people over. Constantly!

If I'd never met or interacted with them you'd think they were the negative stereotype of Jews. I'm not stereotyping all Chinese as being like this it's just my personal experience with Chinese so far in real life.
