Sure they are using PHP on the back end?
Angular is part of the MEAN stack.
MongoDB Express Angular Node
Instead of the old school LAMP setup.
I am taking a Udemy course on MEAN. Kind of fun. The whole mongodb stuff is kind of confusing to me with all the {JSON} things going on. Collections instead of tables.
I have read somewhere that using MongoDB is a little faster and better than MySQL. But MySQL is better with there is a large database with many relations.
Javascript everywhere had been the cool thing for a while, with Node.js handling the back end.. But wait until next year, Maybe Golang will be the big thing.
