Ron Jeremy is a legend and anyone in this industry for any time knows he's touchy feely and a lot of girls throw themselves at him (lucky bastard!) and he's earned it. There are hundreds of pics posted online by smiling girls with Ron's hands on their titts, there are also lots of stories posted by girls throughout the years not privy to Ron's ways who were felt up or whatever and took offense.
I'm not sure why AVN banned him instead of putting out a statement like " In light of the current social atmosphere Ron Jeremy has informed us that he will be asking before touching at this years AVN awards " could have been a cool compromise instead of a bitch slap. Maybe they had threats of performers boycotting or protests, I doubt it but I have no idea.
