Theoretical though plausible, but i think it's just another scare tactic from mainstream news, fear equals ratings, Fox and CNN have been doing these things for many years Y2K. Bird flu swine flu, Zika pandemic etc.
Though it is something we should learn about. Televised news likes to exaggerate and send more of a wide spread panic for the sake of views.
