Actually it helps all of us.. Because the vast majority of the research areas these grads will enter spend years on research, not freaking 15 minutes. And when you break down why there's more stress more often than not, its caused by outside factors more to do with the gender roll expected from society or should I say antiquated society.

I say give everyone 24 hours to finish, get up and leave when you want because the time of completion is not really a factor. The big question should be why is this more of a problem at Oxford compared to other universities? And the answer there is simple, its an "old boys" institution despite 60% of grads now being female.
