Do you guys really think this is "just a fridge?" And how exactly would something this massive, that can hold thousands of meals, get installed in an airplane? Seems as if they would need to take the airplane apart.
Custom appliance, custom installation, done by people that pass security clearances, with an appropriate warranty.
Is that worth $12M per plane? No idea, but to think this is a simple SubZero is a bit silly.
