Holy crap!
Hope you are feeling better now. That sucks. I know what you mean with the care facilities. A handful of years back my mom got very sick and spent the better part of two years in one. Well, actually a few different ones because some of them were so bad we got her out of them.
The entire nursing home/elder care industry is fucked. They grossly underpay their workers so they have constant turnover and half the people working there don't care. Not to mention many are overfilled, understaffed, and have shitty conditions. As the baby boomers continue to get old, it is only going to get worse.
