My mortgage company had a pretty large telemarketing operation. It was pretty easy to get people to tell you what you wanted to hear over the phone. Especially with targeted call lists. Actually for the most part you already knew what they were going to say before you even called them because the lists were so targeted... The poll operations are no different. They are being paid by one side or the other for results that they want to see.. So the call lists are created for those results...
