It wasn't. It was decided by the middle, who:

#1 wanted to give a great big 'fuck you', to all the condescending pricks who belittled & dismissed everything that group of people had to say by labelling them racists, instead of listening to their concerns about literally anything else

#2 the 'intelligent class' being yet again unable to put themselves in the 'unintelligent' class's shoes, which is in fact, the only fucking way you ever persuade anyone of anything.

#3 see point #2, and the people more in the centre feeling they get told what is best for them, and if they disagree get some ridiculous name thrown at them - racist, homophobe, sexist, litle englander, etc. Those are the very people that remainers should have been bending over backwards to accomodate in real discussions... instead they throw a name, dismiss those people as unintelligent, and surprise surprise, the people think 'well this is what the EU does, fuck them' and came out in force to vote.

The UK isn't full of racists and sexists and whatever other childish insults the far left vocal crowd want to throw out, just like all millenials aren't snowflakes, nor are all liberal-minded people, despite what the far right spew. Ofc that element is there, but to think it's as big a problem as the people who cry wolf every 10 seconds make out is again, very naive.

That people still think that brexit was solely about immigration, and trump was solely about racism, shows how out of touch the elite/intelligence snobs are. You expect it of the backwards cunts who have never been out of their town and are far right, but they don't pretend to be intelligent. Joe Bloggs had basically had enough of getting fucked over, and being ordered around by the people who are supposed to be doing the serving.

Same old shit... the snobby left who think themselves intellectuals because they have dinner parties in Lambeth are as out of touch with the average Joe as the mega rich ruling class are.

When will they ever learn from all the backfires? My guess: never. Most of them are too far up their own arse to even understand there's a huge disconnect, let alone get down from their high horses long enough to work together... so much more fun to pretend to be 'above' all those silly white van driving peasants.

2. far left
3. far left being about 2 degrees left of centre these days
