And why do you assume the shooter is "James Bond"? Nobody in that scenario has shot at people before (unless there is a soldier in the scenario).
Let me ask YOU one question...I doubt you'll answer it: Would YOU rather have a gun on you if you and your wife were out somewhere and a crazy man started shooting at you? Or would you rather just let him kill you and your wife and have no chance to even try to fight back?
Which one Tony?

Tony can answer for himself but I will chime in to say OF COURSE I would want to have a gun on me...IF SOMEONE WAS SHOOTING AT ME.
But here's a MAJOR problem Robbie: States in this country have been passing laws called 'Stand Your Ground'. Meaning, if you FEEL like you are being threatened - by a look, some bad words, the color of someone's skin - then you can pull out your weapon and blow the fucker away. Then, on the stand in Court you say, "But Your Honor I felt
threatened!"
Case dismissed.
So having all these armed citizens walking around, sometimes with weapons on their hips like they are some kind of cowboy and it's 1856, does not make me feel safe.
I feel safer in fucking Europe than I do in the US. At least if I get in a confrontation there (not that I ever do) at least I don't have to worry about some asshole cowboy pulling his piece on me.
