This makes sense. The moment there is a threat or we believe there is a threat the firearms must be taken away.
Case in point - This JUST was just posted via Facebook about my kid's high school:
At this point I hope they've checked him for firearms, his locker, his car, and a police car on their way to his house to speak to his parents and ensure there are no firearms there.
We have too many firearms and kids have easy access to them.
