What happened with August was incredibly sad. I didn't know her personally but, my production manager shot with her for other sites. He said she was an absolute doll. I haven't talked with anyone who knew her who didn't say the same. My heart goes out to her family and, friends.
As for the on going cyber bullying in the industry, what can be done about it? Bullying back doesn't seem to be the answer. Most of the agencies that I've hired talent through are very protective of their models. Is this something that should be brought up to them? Do you know who these ladies are signed with? Perhaps, if the agents came up with a none bullying policy, it would help.
