Rochard's still stuck in a bygone era where it's gung-ho and patriotic to blindly support North American only manufacturers. It must suck to have an antiquated sense of consumerism and misplaced sense of loyalty to an inferior domestic brand.

Not at all.... I've owned two foreign cars - Jaguars in fact - in the past few years.
I drive a Jeep because.... I had that truck and I liked the idea of being able to go off road any time I wanted and not being afraid. I needed an SUV that can do anything, haul the family, carry my bike, and never have a fear of going anywhere. I bought the Dodge because like American muscle cars.
I'm sorry, but Kia and Toyota and Honda screams "middle aged bureaucrat". Its screams boring to me.
I like Mercedes, but cannot stand the interior - that big ass screen sticking up. I love the way the BMWs look but not their SUVs. I do love the Porsche SUVs, and in fact, that's what I was going to look at the day I bought my Jeep. I like the Audis - I could see myself driving an Audi. I like the Jaguar SUV they have out now.
The Asian cars just do nothing for me. At all.
