They banned many adult sites in Google.de because government asked so, they didn't care about surfers. Surfers can still access by directly going to tubes. They should have denied the request. After all, Google is free to use, nobody forces people to use it. |
again - they do NOT censor anything - if they wanted to censor it the sites would not be there anymore.

this actual case in germany
this crime movie about porn was send at 8PM and google was flooded with search keys like "squirting" and "bukkake" because kids and non-professional internet users wanted to know what these words mean.
do you really think that google or anybody else will stand those arguments of the child protectors very long ?
do you see what they try now in US ?
they want to declare porn as a DISEASE !!!
how do you think can a search engine defend itself when is is breaking a law what is declared as spreading the black pest ?
you only see YOUR point but to understand what happens here you have to understand the situation from EVERY point.
google need to do something and needs arguments for showing porn results - if they donīt do it they will simply get blocked or sued.
they are not that stupid not to know that they will lose users without porn - thatīs why they fight for it since they started.
without google there would not be one search engine left with porn results. because google is big enough to stand this fight. no other one would be able to take and handle this pressure. i can show you thousands of local search engines what took porn out after they got the first email from child protectors or legal departments or just some silly lawyer.
you are blaming here definitely the wrong people.
and this problem will become bigger as more ultra conservative backward thinkers get in power worldwide.
