Such an absolute joke of a statement made by someone that has never truthfully faced death.

What hope does a dying patient have, without the experimental treatment, that the government could possibly take away? If a dying patient is willing to test new treatments, new drugs, new technologies… THAT is hope. Not only for the dying patient, but for mankind as a whole.

The things we can learn from these experiments would be immeasurable. The last contribution of these people to society could be a contribution that saves lives of others.

How could that be considered anything but beautiful?
