There is no article in the Russian Criminal Code about prostitution. Try to Google and find one. You can't quote me, but you know what Google is and how to use it?
P.S. The money penalty is the same as you can get here for crossing the street on a red light. This is not a crime. In theory, the act of prostitution is being punished for about $30 USD. But try to catch and prove it. The both persons have to say they do it for money and only after that you can fine a prostitute for $30. How will do that? Say if you are policeman, who will even open a door to you? For example, every time when police is knocking at my door, I tell them to fuck off (literally). So this is a so-called Shredinger law. It does exist in the Civilian Code (not in the Criminal one)... but it doesn't work.
